KARACHI: Sindh Agriculture Minister Ismail Rahoo on Tuesday stated that the provincial government will waive-off its loans of the farmers, who have been affected because of the latest rains, ARY News reported. 

Talking to ARY News program Bakhabar Savera, Ismail Rahoo stated cotton, tomatoes, sugarcane, rice, and other vegetation are badly damaged in numerous districts of the province along with Badin, Mirpurkhas, Sanghar, Tando Allahyar, and others.

Farmers are already passing through the worst financial situation due to increasing inflation and the latest rains have brought to their distress, the minister said.

Rahoo said that the Sindh authorities are currently carrying out remedy and rescue sports and after crowning glory, it's going to announce an alleviation bundle for the farmers.

The agriculture minister once more demanded of the federal authorities to announce agriculture mortgage and tax waiver for rain-hit farmers of the province.

Yesterday, Ismail Rahoo had said in an assertion that the provincial authorities declared 20 districts of the province calamity-hit due to the devastation due to the latest rains there.

Ismail Rahoo stated the calamity-hit districts suffered extremely due to current rains that performed havoc with plants of cotton, tomatoes, chilies, rice, sugarcane, and others. He demanded that farmers be also given hobby-unfastened loans to conquer monetary losses.
